Here’s the review from our first guest:
“This tiny home more than exceeded my expectations! The pictures looked great but then when I arrived, it was even more adorable than I could imagine! Every detail has been thought through down to the smallest little touch to keep the 1940s theme! The screened in porch is such a peaceful and cool retreat to sit and read or have a cup of coffee overlooking the gorgeous gardens below. There isn’t a think I would change about this cabin and was a terrific stay!” — Teresa

“This was perfect…. The photos on the website are 100% accurate. The place was spotless. There was nothing we needed. Everything about it was super comfortable and relaxing. Our favorite “touches” were the rocking chairs on the front porch, the awesome shower, the Echo Dot, the coffee decanter, and I could just go on and on…”
— Dave“What a beautiful place to stay.. secluded & peaceful while only a short drive to either Shepherdstown or Harper’s Ferry! The cabin is very clean & decorated beautifully with extra touches like a waffle station, ingredients for s’mores, coffee & great smelling soap & shampoo. You will not be disappointed! We would definitely stay here again!” — Jennifer
The kitchen includes microwave, convection toaster oven, blender, mini-fridge, and a waffle maker with mix provided! Complete coffee and tea station including whole beans, grinder, Chemex and electric kettle.
(NO STOVE/OVEN OR WASHER/DRYER)
This is a rural area, so cell phone service is spotty. No TV, but there is a monitor, so bring your tablet/laptop and HDMI cable to hook up to it; high speed wireless internet is fast enough to stream music or video.
Note that the loft is reached by steep stairs that are open and not easily gated. The cabin is probably not appropriate for children under age 3. No pets please.
